The Australian Event Awards 2022 are open for entries.
Entering the Event Awards gives every entrant an opportunity to have their event peer reviewed by leading industry professionals and the potential to be celebrated as the best of the best in the category, taking home the prestigious trophy. With 20 categories to choose from, there are plenty of opportunities to be recognised for your achievements.
Events and Achievements that have taken place between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022 can enter one or more of the categories on offer.
Entries close on Monday 19 September 2022.
With 20 categories to choose from, we've aimed to cover all sectors of the Events Industry, as well as provide opportunities for Virtual, Live and Hybrid events to be recognised for their qualities and excellence. Events and achievements can enter into multiple categories - if you need some help deciding, we've got a quick 'at a glance' overview of types of events/achievements suited to each category.
Which Category
Yes! Head to the entry portal and download the Word Document for the category you're entering - it includes all the questions and word limits, as well as the criteria against which your entry will be judged. Make sure you upload some content into the online form well ahead of entries closing (closing date is 19 September 2022) so we can assist with any queries you may have about the portal and your submission.
Entry Portal
The Panel of Judges are made up of industry professionals who represent all areas of the industry by sector and by geography. Using their experience and expertise, they review the entries and provide back to the entrants feedback including praise on their innovations and suggestions on elements entrants may like to try in order to improve on a certain area of their event. Each entry is reviewed by at least two judges from the panel. Check out who is on the panel and might be reviewing your entry! If you want to join the panel, get in touch with us.
