The Australian Event Awards 2022 are open for entries.
With 20 categories to choose from, there’s something for everyone to recognise their innovation, excellence and contribution to the Australian Events Industry.
Events and Achievements that have taken place between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2022 can enter one or more of the categories on offer. This year, as the industry makes an active return post-Covid, the 2022 Awards categories aim to recognise the creativity and delivery of live events, with some categories continuing to acknowledge the contribution that hybrid and virtual events also play on the events scene.
Entries will close on Monday 19 September 2022.

Best New Event is back in the suite of categories. After a couple of uncertain years, we're excited to see the industry pulling out all the stops to demonstrate their creativity, innovation and expertise. Best New Event recognises all these qualities in the staging of a new event. If your event fits the bill, this is the category for you!

Over the past year, there have been some fabulous events staged worldwide, with contribution from Australians and this category aims to recognise this. Best Export Award is awarded to an individual or organisation that makes a notable contribution to the Australian events industry through activity in the global arena. This award is open to applicants that are integral to the delivery of events overseas.
