This year’s Event Awards is gearing up to be one of our biggest with an array of new categories to recognise some of the core advisory and infrastructure companies that help make events what they are, and some pre-Covid categories making a comeback.
This year, after extensive consultation with the industry, we've taken on board your feedback and broadened the Event Awards categories for 2023.
36 specialist categories will recognise an array of events held across Australia, achievements in focussed areas of events, the contribution of specialised services to the industry and the management companies that play a part in making events happen.

National Winners will be announced at the Event Awards Ceremony ... stay tuned to find out where this will be - a national Search for a Home is underway and we're excited to find out what destination we'll be heading to in September!
Now in it's 15th year, the Event Awards have launched a national Search for a Home providing an opportunity for regions, destinations, new and established venues, attractions and accommodation providers to showcase what they have to offer to the key decision makers in the $17bn Aussie events business and thereby snare new events for their region.
All destinations, venues, accommodation providers and attractions are encouraged to get together and put in a bid - it is an opportunity to demonstrate what they have to offer directly to the industry and showcase their local services, cuisine and event spaces.
This is also an invaluable opportunity for the local events community to connect with producers and suppliers from across the country, network and increase their contact database and vice versa.
The Event Symposium is back! It will be held prior to the Event Ceremony, providing delegates with the opportunity to come together, network and engage in the professional development sessions.

The Symposium will kick off with the Opening Function on Monday 11 September, followed by two days of sessions, concluding with the Ceremony on Wednesday 13 September.

Nominees for 2023 Announced: 9 August
Event Awards Ceremony and Symposium: 11 - 13 September
These dates may still change a little but we'll keep you up to date as each one comes up.
