Awarded to an event that best achieves business outcomes, achieves the client’s KPI’s, is a non-brand event and delivers an outstanding experience for attendees.

Best Brand Event

Awarded to an event designed to further the brand of the client by increasing sales, building brand loyalty or launching a new product and achieves the client’s KPI’s.

Best Community Event

Recognising the benefits through community building and community engagement achieved by an event.

Best Cultural, Arts or Music Event

Recognising a special event, festival or cultural experience that demonstrates artistic excellence, innovation and/or support of music, arts and culture.

Best Small Regional Event

Recognising an event delivered within a gross budget of $500,000 exclusive of GST that makes an outstanding contribution to a region or community outside of a major population centre. (This includes staff wages, resources, production, marketing and all other activities associated with the staging of the event.)

Best Small Event

Best Export

Awarded to an individual or organisation that makes a notable contribution to the Australian events industry through activity in the global arena.

Venue of the Year

Awarded to a venue that demonstrates leadership and innovation over a 12 month period and significantly enhanced the event experience.

Caterer of the Year

Awarded to a caterer whose creativity and service has made an outstanding contribution to an event or events over a 12 month period.

Theming, Branding or Styling Company of the Year

Recognising the contribution by a company to benefit an event or events over a 12 month period with its innovative and creative theming, branding or styling.

Security Company of the Year

Awarded to a company that has provided outstanding security services to benefit an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Production Company of the Year

Recognising the contribution by a company to enhance the quality of an event or events over a 12 month period with its staging, lighting, sound and/or vision.

AV Content Company of the Year

Recognising the innovation and creativity of AV content to benefit an event or events over a 12 month period.

Hire Company of the Year

Awarded to a company that has met the demands of the industry for hire services and provided an outstanding contribution and level of customer service to an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Advisory Company of the Year

Awarded to a company that has provided outstanding professional advice to benefit an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Service Company of the Year

Awarded to a company that has provided professional services at an outstanding level to benefit an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

New Event Product of the Year

Recognising a new or substantially improved product or technology that has been used at an event or events.

Freelancer of the Year

This Award recognises a freelancer that has made a notable contribution to the Australian Events Industry over a 12 month period.

Management Awards

PCO of the Year

This Award recognises a professional conference organisation company that has delivered an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Small Event Management Company of the Year

This Award recognises a company that has employed no more than 5 employees who have worked over 400 hours each and delivered an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Public Event Management Company of the Year

This Award recognises an event management company that has delivered a public event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Corporate Event Management Company of the Year

This Award recognises an event management company that has delivered a corporate event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period.

Headline Awards

Judges’ Special Award;
