Event Awards Myth Busting: "The entry process involves lots of lengthy questions..."
Truth: There are, on average, only 35 questions to answer in our entry process. Out of those, 8 are box ticking, 4 are info about your event, 5 are uploading images and 4 are info for your entrant highlight. Overall, there are only 14 questions that involve you writing responses - Easy!
We have made a tweak to the eligibility criteria of the Virtual Event Categories.
Originally, virtual events had to be primarily directed towards Australian audiences. However, following feedback from the Industry, we have recognised that the focus should not be on the location of the audience but rather on the work accomplished by Australian event professionals in Australia.
Thus, we have changed the criteria so that, as long as your virtual event was created, managed and broadcast initiated from Australia, you are eligible to enter the Awards regardless of audience location.
In 2021, we will be showcasing the works, achievements, and accomplishments of the industry by posting highlights of every Awards entrant on our social media channels every day during October.
These highlights will include an image or video accompanied by a short overview and recognition of the individuals that were integral to the event/achievement.
