Today, the expert judging panel announced the best Events in Australia, together with a host of achievements and companies that make up the nominees for the Australian Event Awards 2023.
Recognising some of Australia’s Best Events, our nominees include Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2023, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Gala Ball 2022 and PwC Partner Ignite 2022.
Ample Projects for their work on Wild Lights Taronga Vivid Sydney 2023, Artists In Motion for their work on Dubai World Cup – Closing Ceremony 2023 and Sydney Festival for their work on Sydney Festival 2023 are amongst the nominees for the Achievement categories, recognising their work and contribution to events.
The P.A. People, RAC Arena, Intelligent Risks, ICMS Australasia, Weeding Hire and We Are Phoenix are just some of the many companies competing for the National Title in the Industry and Management Awards.
Across 29 Categories, the Nominees will be contending for the National Winner title which will be announced at the Event Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 13 September 2023. Concluding the Ceremony, the National Winners will find out who takes home the titles of the Headline Awards, ‘Event Supplier of the Year’ ‘Event Management Company of the Year’ and ‘Australia’s Best Event’!

2023 has seen the Events Industry come back to life with a new level of innovation, creativity and revamping of long running events. The Nominees in the 2023 Event Awards have been recognised for their exceptional contribution to the Industry and demonstration of their skills, outside-the-box thinking and exceeding expectations.

The State and Territory Nominees are selected from the Best Event categories and recognise the top two scoring events in each state and territory in each of these categories.
Following the National Winner announcements at the Event Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 13 September, the State and Territory Winners will be revealed. Framed Certificates signed by the Co-Chairs of the Judging Panel in recognition of your achievement will be available for collection by the State and Territory representatives in the room at the Ceremony during meal breaks, along with opportunities for photos at our Media Wall.
