In the wake of Covid, an impressive list of nominees who have made the shortlist have been collated by the judges. Among the nominees contending for the National Winner title are North Australian Festival of Arts 2022, Nicholas Tory and the Ample Projects design team for their work on Sydney Harbour Bridge 90th Anniversary 2022, Keysborough’s Big Picnic 2022, City of Greater Dandenong as well as many other events, achievements by Australians across the globe, new innovations and technologies.
2022 has demonstrated that the Events Industry has continued to innovate, create and elevate new and long running events. The skills and expertise of Australians being exported to work on the international stage illustrates the increasing quality of the industry and the potential we can all strive for.

The State and Territory Nominees are selected from the Best Event categories and recognise the top two scoring events in each state in each of these categories. The State and Territory Winners will be revealed at the Event Awards Ceremony following the National Winner announcement - make sure you're on the floor at the Ceremony to find out if you're taking home the State/Territory Winner title! A certificate recognising your achievement will be available for you at the Ceremony.

The Event Awards team are working to bring an exciting Ceremony to the shores mid-November. Start pressing your suit, dusting off your frock and get your list together of who you're coming with as seats are limited. The Ceremony is an opportunity to find out who the National Winners are and celebrate in person with them at the only gathering to unite events people from across the entire national industry; from those producing major public events and local community festivals, to those sculpting boutique high-end corporate dos, those serving the national and international conference market and the organisers behind the best business events in Australia, alongside, of course, venues and suppliers.
