Last night marked the final night of our 12-day celebration of the best events and most innovative achievements in the Australian Events Industry since 1 July 2020.
Over 100 events and organisations were crowned as Finalists and Winners of the Australian Event Awards in 2021! An incredible achievement that so many industry players were able to persevere through such a difficult time.

Yesterday also marked the final day of our month-long Industry celebration initiative. So far, we have had over 22,700 views of our content – thank you to everyone who has joined the festivities!

Last night, the results of our two final Awards categories were revealed. Rizer took home Event Management Organisation of the Year and EY Secrets of the Archibald (Jack Morton Australia) was named the Australian Event of the Year. This is an incredible achievement and both organisations, along with all of the other National Winners, should be extremely proud!
Our 2021 Winners include: ORACLE - LIQUID PTY LTD, Salesforce Live Series 2020/2021 (The Company We Keep), Airwaves - The Drive-In Music Festival 2020 (Buskers by the Creek Inc), Big Picture who received not one but two National winner titles, and Parrtjima - A Festival in Light 2021 (Northern Territory Major Events Company) who also received two trophies AND were named as Finalists in two other Best Event Categories - incredible!
Being named as a Finalist of the Event Awards is an immense achievement, highlighting your event, event-related service or innovation as one of the best in Australia.
Finalists in 2021 include, but are certainly not limited to, Red Bull Balloon Dive 2021 (The Shift), Carat Couch-ella 2021 (MKTG), Byron Music Festival 2021 (Byron Music Productions Pty Ltd), Connected Event Group for their work at the Connected Event Studios, Caroline James Events and Imagination.

In early September, Event Awards Major Partner, Coates, played a key role in helping the RFS establish two emergency response camps in Wilcannia, a far western NSW town whose 60% Indigenous population has been hard-hit by COVID-19.
In just 72 hours, the Coates team built two powered camps with supporting infrastructure: an RFS base camp for frontline staff from various agencies and a NSW Health camp for members of the community to safely isolate.
Coates delivered power, lighting and AC; storage, sanitation and shower solutions; temporary site accommodation and toilets; fencing for perimeter site security and traffic management; CCTV services; cool rooms, freezers and so much more.
