The Australian Event Awards’ independent judging panel is chaired by industry veterans, Peter Rix AM, former managing director and chair of George P. Johnson Australia and creator of the ARIA Awards and Brenda LaPorte, who, amongst other achievements, created Cricket Australia’s Big Bash League.
Alongside Peter and Brenda, over 30 other leaders and experts across all parts of the events industry carefully assess each Event Awards entry.
Between them, the panel has experience in major public events, small community festivals, corporate events, conferences, special events, event communications, event strategy, event design and theming, technical production and specialised event services.
The impressive track records on the panel give every entry selected as a nominee or winner critical acclaim as well as providing every single entry with critical and objective feedback.
