The stars of Australia’s event industry gathered in Coffs Harbour last night as the 2025 Australian Event Awards Ceremony recognised excellence across the nation.
More than 230 guests travelled to the Wiigulga Multipurpose Sports Complex to celebrate the achievements of the country’s most outstanding events, teams, and suppliers.
From large-scale global spectacles to intimate community celebrations, this year’s winners reflect the creativity and resilience that continues to define Australia’s event landscape.
“Each year, the Australian Event Awards highlight the incredible talent and diversity of our industry,” said Ian Steigrad, Managing Director of the Australian Event Awards and Symposium. “From grassroots events to world-class productions, our winners prove that Australian events are among the very best in the world.”
The evening featured local Coffs Coast entertainment and hospitality, with City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams joining guests to celebrate the achievements of the industry.

Desintation NSW took home the top honour, with Vivid Sydney 2025 recognised as a shining example of innovation, creativity, and tourism impact.
The event continues to illuminate Sydney's cultural landscape and attract millions of visitors to the Harbour City.
Queensland took centre stage with dual wins for Between the Tides (Best Small Regional Event) and Outback Trail (Best Regional Event) showcasing the state's vibrant creative energy and commitment to connecting communities through the arts.
