Get InvolvedThe awards are judged by an independent panel of judges who are representative of all areas of the industry by sector and by geography and use their expertise in the industry to review and provide creative feedback to entrants. One of our judges, Peter Jones has headed up a team which has produced more than 1,200 events and has made a significant contribution to the industry including former Chairman of the Victoria Events Industry Council. In 2016, Peter received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Australian Event Awards, and in 2018 received the order of Australia award for services to tourism hospitality and the events industry.
