Simon Thewlis is an Event Industry specialist, consultant and executive producer with more than 40 years’ experience across the Australian Event Industry.
He has worked across most types of events, including: business events, brand activations, public events, festivals, commemorations and major events. His clients have included major corporates, government agencies, for purpose organisations, event agencies and promoters.
Simon works with organisations that need experienced event thinking, whether that means shaping strategy, solving difficult problems, improving how an event is planned and delivered, or helping people better understand the role events play. His work brings together strategy, creative thinking and practical delivery.
He has also been active in Event Industry advocacy and policy work, including writing and presenting on event economics, workforce issues, event policy and the broader value of the Australian Event Industry.
