It's down to you to really demonstrate to the Judges why you're the winning entry...here are some quick tips on what the judges look for and why they've included it in the category judging criteria:
Innovation is important: They want to know what you've done that is new or gives you a competitive edge in the market.
Quality and Industry Excellence: How did your event or achievement pave the way for a new benchmark in leading the industry and demonstrating what the Australian Events Industry can do?
Acknowledge the difficulties: The judges assess what you achieved with the resources you had and in the context of your environment and circumstances - tell them the challenges you encountered, whether budgetary, logistical or something else.
The Event Awards have downloadable entry forms allowing you to work anywhere at anytime on your entry. To access the online forms, head to the portal, log in (or create a new user....it's free and obligation free) and click 'Downloads' from the menu.
Just make sure you upload all your content to the ONLINE entry form before the close of entries on 17 July.
Handy tip: forget the formatting - bullet points, italics, bold font, fancy fonts and so forth aren't accepted in the entry form so you can save the time - just focus on the content itself!
Have you created a feature for an event or designed a custom look for events? Best Achievement in Design is where you can enter your achievement to gain recognition for the valuable work that you do to enhance events.
Log into the entry portal to find out more, see the entry form and start your entry.
