The Australian Event Awards are offering one destination the opportunity to be recognised and positioned as the Events Capital of Australia by hosting the Australian Event Awards and Symposium 2023, 2024 and 2025.
To be staged in mid-September each year, the Event Awards are providing States, Territories, government bodies and venues a chance to showcase to the industry, who they are, what they have to offer and why their destination is a leader in the events industry.
The program for the Event Awards and Symposium will see delegates arriving in the destination on a Monday ahead of the Welcome Drinks, followed by a 2-day Symposium, providing sessions to grow the industry knowledge and practice and providing collaborative opportunities to develop new ideas before concluding on the Wednesday night with the Ceremony. Destinations have the opportunity to host these delegates over the three days and provide incentives to the delegates to extend their stay with pre and post tour options to maximise their exposure and experience the best of your destination.
The Ceremony will see some Australia’s best event practitioners and service providers gather in the one location for one night only, offering the unique opportunity for destinations to put their best foot forward and meet the top decisionmakers in the business.
