How to do a Last Minute Entry

Entering is quick & easy and often completed in a few hours.

Here's what you need to do:

  • Log into the Portal using the link below.
  • Click 'New Entry' on the left hand side of the welcome screen, select your category, agree to the T's and C's and answer the questions.
  • Answers are between 300 & 500 words in length but you don't have to hit the word limit on every question. Use dot points if it helps.
  • Upload some Great Photos and/or Video and add captions for them.
  • The portal will convert your image and/or video files for viewing by the judges - if you have any problems, call us on (02) 9218 0024
  • Pay your Entry Fees by clicking 'make a payment' in the top menu bar. We suggest you pay by credit card at this stage to avoid any delays.
  • That's it - pretty easy - but now is not the time to dither - you only have 24 hours finish writing.

Almost Finished?

For those people who have been working away on their entries for a little while, here's a quick checklist of things to do to confirm you're done:

  • View your Entry: In the portal, go to 'My Entries' and then click 'View' for each of your entries. What you see is what the judges see - if you want to make changes, go back to 'My Entries' and click 'Edit'.
  • Proof Read: Show your draft of the entry to staff members who work in different areas of the company – they’ll provide a fresh pair of eyes and a different perspective. Ask someone to check the final draft for spelling and grammatical errors. These small steps make a big difference in terms of ensuring your application stands out from the competition.
  • Check your Status: In the 'My Entries' screen, ensure that the status of all your entries reads 'Entered'. If it reads 'Unpaid' or 'Invoiced', you need to make a payment (see next step).
  • Pay your Entry Fees: If you have unpaid entries, just click 'Make a Payment' in the top menu bar. We suggest you pay by credit card at this stage to avoid any delays.
  • Submit: All paid entries are automatically submitted to the judges at the close of entries so there’s no need to do anything.

Tip # 8

Special emphasis should be made regarding the contribution of innovation in your event, product or service. For example, new technologies, marketing strategies.

For events or businesses that have applied previously, and possibly won, it is important to clearly detail what has been achieved since your most recent success in the Awards. For example, entering new markets, introduction of new technology, or launching new products etc.

One last thing:
Get somebody external to your company to read through your application to ensure that it is understandable to someone with no detailed knowledge of your company.

Need assistance:
We will be in the office all day and we will do our best to assist you. Call us on (02) 9281 0024 for help.
