Major events producer joins Symposium program as registrations open, plus start and pay for your entry now for Early Starters Discount

Symposium registrations have opened as a worldwide events producer joins the Symposium program, plus while all entrants have until 25 July to complete thier submissions, you'll get a discount on your Event Awards entry if you start and pay before next Monday 20 June.


Major ceremonies and events producer joins Symposium line-up

Principal of jbWorldEvents, Julie Brooks, will deliver a Keynote presentation on Day 1 of the Symposium exploring the inspiration behind some of the biggest ceremonies and events around the world.

Julie will draw on her experience of producing major ceremonies and events such as Sydney 2000, Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, Doha 2006 Asian Games, Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2011 Pan American Games.

Recently she produced 'Rise for the Oceans', a Brisbane Festival Opening Night piece, BeatBox for Dreamworld and the Oratorio, 'Clusters of Light' in Sharjah and Cairo.

Her previous experience included musicals in Australasia working with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh.
