Writing workshops, Search for a Home update and a new date for the Event Awards

We want to know what you think about attending writing workshops dealing with everything from awards submissions to grant applications, plus a head's up in the Search for a Home and a change of date for the Event Awards.

We want your opinion: Writing workshops

With the standard of events increasing every year, the Event Awards judges have suggested a series of writing workshops to ensure all the brilliant details of these occasions - or future ideas you'd like to propose - make their way into award entries, tender responses and grant applications. In other words, we'd like to provide a vehicle to help everyone in the industry deliver top-notch submissions, whatever they're for.

We'd love to get your feedback on whether there is demand for this endeavour before we go full-steam ahead with the idea. Click the button below to take our 5 question survey about whether you'd be interested in attending and what the workshops should cover.

Search for a Home questions answered

With the Search for a Home officially closing at 5.00pm AEDT on 29 March, there's a month to go for those wishing to submit a bid to host the Event Awards in 2016, 2017 and the 10th anniversary in 2018.

And, after considerable interest from around Australia, we've updated the Search for a Home bid document with answers to all the questions we've received from potential bidders, so if you haven't downloaded the document yet, now is a great time to do it.
