Lifetime Achievement Recipients Announced; Catch the Ceremony Online

Tuesday marks the 6th annual Australian Event Awards Industry Night of Nights, to be held at Doltone House Darling Island Wharf in Pyrmont, Sydney.

This year we recognise two Australian greats behind some of Australia's most iconic events.

John Trevillian is the Assistant Director General, Office of Protocol & Special Events at NSW Department of Premier & Cabinet and has been closely involved in many of Australia's renowned events.

David Grant is widely acclaimed as one of Australia's leading event producers and a pioneer of the industry, who remains as hands on and as creatively engaged today as he did when he started in 1985.

Lifetime Achievement Recipients

On Tuesday evening, two Australians who have contributed to the events industry over the course of their careers will be recognised for their work, creativity and contribution to advancing the industry.

John Trevillian has and continues to be involved in the delivery of Australia Day statewide, the delivery, coordination and event communication for New Year's Eve, Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and ANZAC Day, to name a few.

David Grant has worked in every corner of Australia, including the most obscure and difficult locations, where he has taken great delight in nurturing the local events community. His international work includes 10 Summer and Winter Olympic Games for the International Olympic Committee and numerous international sponsors. At the Sydney Olympics alone his renowned capacity for hard work and flawless quality saw him produce over 320 events across 17 days over 12 different locations.
