Voting for Australia's Favourite Event 2014 is now open. It's time to put your votes behind any public event that you attended between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2014.

Public Vote for Australia's Favourite Event Now Open

Australia's Favourite Event allows every Australian to vote for any public event they have attended between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2014.

All types of public events including music festivals, sporting events, community events, cultural and commemorative events have been nominated and are competing for your votes. If you don't like any of the events that have already been nominated, don't worry - nominations are still open and you can add your favourite by nominating it today.

Voting closes on 11 November but we encourage you to get as many votes as you can before Sunday 19 October to boost your event's chances of getting into the finals - the top ten will be announced on Monday 20 October and voting continues for these finalists.

The winner will be announced at the Australian Event Awards Industry Night of Nights in November.

Here's what you need to do to get votes:
  1. Go to www.eventawards.com.au and make sure your favourite event is nominated by searching for it - if not, nominate it!
  2. Use your marketing channels and distribute the vote code far and wide to your members, friends and colleagues
  3. Put the vote code with the direct link provided on your website to make it easy for the public to get straight to your event to vote
  4. Keep spreading the word and ramping up those votes!
Anyone who attended the event can vote as many times as they like, just don't use bots or votes will be disqualified.

It's up to you to decide what will be Australia's Favourite Event of 2014.
