2014 National Finalists Announced - Book your tickets now to be a part of the Industry Night of Nights

The 2014 Awards recognise finalists from major sporting events like Liverpool FC Versus Melbourne Victory at MCG, Melbourne Cricket Club, which saw over 95,000 spectators merge upon the MCG, to cultural events like Garrmalang Festival, a unique festival celebrating the diversity of the indigenous and non-indigenous community in the Top End of Australia.

2014 Finalists Announced

With entries in all 23 categories covering many aspects of the industry from venues, products, catering, entertainment and events themselves, the judges have scrutinised each entry and produced a list of National Finalists, recognising the best in the Australian events industry over the past year with finalists from every state and territory.

"Once again in 2014 the number of entries in the Australian Event Awards has increased, with a pleasingly high overall standard of entries. The awards aim to identify and acknowledge best practice in the industry, and in so doing to inspire participants to strive for higher degrees of excellence and achievement." says John Allen, Founding Director of the Australian Centre for Event Management at UTS and co-chair of the Industry Judging Panel.
