How to Enter

Entries for the Australian Event Awards are closed. Winners of the Australian Event Awards 2017 were announced at the Awards Ceremony on 13 September at The Events Centre on the Sunshine Coast. See the full list of Winners and Finalists here.

The Australian Event Awards are designed to be as easy as possible to enter.

Follow these simple steps to get started:

1. Choose a Category

Regardless of your role within the Australian events industry, there is a category to suit you. The only challenge is to choose the category that gives you the best chance of success. Click here to check the eligibility requirements and judging criteria for each category. The detailed entry form is available from inside the Entry Portal. You can enter more than one category if you like.

2. Login to the Entry Portal

You will be asked to create a username and password. To get started simply follow the prompts to see the entry form. You can also use the Portal to download the list of questions for your category if you prefer to work offline.

3. Start your entry

You don't have to complete your entry all in one go. You can continue to edit your entry as often as you like until entries close. You can also begin an entry without paying, so there’s no harm in making a start today. Just make sure you pay before the close of entries so your entry is valid. There is no "submit" button - you just need to save your completed entry in the portal and, if you have paid by the closing date, your entry as last saved will be submitted for judging.

With entries now closed, you may visit the Entry Portal to view your submitted entries.

Entered before and looking for a previous Entry?

No problem, the portals from 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013 are still available. Contact us if you need an earlier year.
